Warranty & Claims Policy

Official SBK Imports warranty covering Australian Consumer Law guarantees, coverage and exclusions, claims process, and remedies.

1. Overview

SBK Imports (“we”, “us”, “our”) supplies motorcycle brake pads and related products within Australia. This policy outlines our warranty commitments and the steps to take if you believe a product is faulty.

Our products are backed by the guarantees provided under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). These guarantees are in addition to any manufacturer warranties that may apply.

2. Australian Consumer Law

Under the ACL, our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund if a product has a major failure;

  • Compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by a failure; and

  • Assurance that goods will be of acceptable quality, reasonably fit for purpose, and correspond with any relevant description.

You are also entitled to have products repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

3. What is Covered

  • Products supplied by SBK Imports that are defective in materials or workmanship.

  • Faults that occur during normal intended use of the product.

  • Products incorrectly supplied by us (item ordered does not match item supplied).

4. What is Not Covered

  • Damage caused by incorrect installation, improper use, or failure to follow manufacturer instructions.
  • Wear and tear from normal use (e.g., brake pads wearing down over time).
  • Damage caused by accidents, competition use, racing conditions, or other non-standard applications.
  • Any product that has been modified from its original condition.
Please note: Manufacturers offer no warranty on racing parts.

5. Making a warranty Claim
